If you decide to attend the race weekend by car, it is good to know where and how to park for a stress-free experience. Luckily, the circuit offers several designated and free parking areas, each for visitors arriving from different directions or with specific vehicle types. All parking is managed and signposted by event organisers to ensure an orderly arrival process.
Yellow Parking
This parking is best suited for visitors arriving from the eastern side, especially those coming from Budapest. To reach this lot, take the M7 motorway and exit onto Road 710, heading in the direction of Veszprém and Balatonfüred. About one kilometre after the junction, there is a special event exit that will lead you directly to the yellow parking area. This parking is strategically placed for quick access to the venue and helps reduce traffic for those coming from the capital.
Green Parking
This parking area is best for those coming from the west, including drivers coming from Siófok, who are advised to use the Green Parking area. Leave the M7 at exit 80 (Polgárdi), then continue through Lepsény towards Balatonfőkajár. Just before entering the town, you will find the green parking entrance on the left-hand side.
Blue Parking (Motorcyclists)
The circuit provides a dedicated area for motorcyclists, located off the airport road. This zone is for motorcycles only and includes secure, free storage for your bike, giving you peace of mind while you enjoy the races. Riders can expect easy access and a rider-friendly environment.
Parking for Caravans
If you are attending with a caravan, there is a designated parking space available via the yellow parking area. Overnight stays are permitted and free of charge, if you prove that you hold a valid ticket to the event.
The parking areas are free of charge and only the designated parking areas can be used. Vehicles are banned from staying overnight unless you are staying overnight in the caravan zone.
However, you should be aware that there could be temporary road closures around the race weekend. For example, in the village of Balatonfőkajár, the intersection of Ady Endre Street and Petőfi Sándor Street will be closed daily from 06:00 to 18:00, from Friday to Sunday.
